Analyst - Credit Research
Responsibilities:
- Conducted research on the various industries like Infrastructure, Oil, Gas, Mining, cement, Solar Power, Renewable energy in which the company operates and kept a track on the performance of the industry Analyzed the business model, identified strengths, weakness, risks, analyzed the revenue models and the corporate structure of the businesses
- Analyze financial performance by analyzing past financial and business performance and benchmarking those against peers.
- Analyze Large Corporate company's financial performance which includes financial statement.
- Analysis, projection on future performance & ratio analysis.
- Undertake rigorous credit risk analysis through Credit Strengths & Weaknesses encompassing Financial Analysis, Industry Analysis, Business Analysis & Management Analysis.
- Undertake client's bank statement analysis to detect any delay in servicing debt obligations and/or any event of over utilization of bank limits.
- Preparing detailed Peer Analysis based on operating & financial parameters.
- Interacting with entity/client and banker to procure necessary rating information/documents.
- Conducting management discussion with the client to understand their strategy, business model, future plans & recent developments.
- Presenting detailed research & analysis to the rating committee and finalize the rating.
- Assign ratings and prepare rating report that cogently capture the rationale behind the rating.
- Communicate rating to the entity/client & publish the rating rationale on company website
