Job Summary

Amazon is seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Associates to join our Fulfillment Center Operations team. In this role, you will play an integral part in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities
• * Receive, scan, sort, and store inventory in designated locations.
• * Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders according to instructions.
• * Operate manual or powered equipment, including pallet jacks or forklifts, as needed (training provided).
• * Maintain safety standards and ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
• * Handle packages and items of various sizes and weights safely.
• * Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
• * Monitor and report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.
• * Adhere to all company policies, including workplace safety and security guidelines.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * High school diploma or equivalent.
• * Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
• * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
• * Good physical stamina; ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and carry items for extended periods.
• * Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• * Ability to follow instructions and meet performance standards.
• * Flexibility to work in varying temperatures and environments, including warehouse floors and loading docks.
• Experience
• * Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment operations is a plus but not required.
• * On-the-job training is provided for all associates, making this role accessible for individuals entering the field.
• Working Hours
• * Flexible shifts available, including day, night, and weekend shifts.
• * Overtime may be required during peak seasons.
• * Part-time and full-time positions are available to accommodate varying schedules.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• * Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tools (preferred).
• * Basic problem-solving skills for handling unexpected challenges.
• * Ability to meet performance metrics in a high-paced environment.
