Job Description
About the Role:
As an Associate in the Warehouse department at Ajanta Pharma, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations to ensure the timely receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products and materials. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, implementing best practices in warehouse management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:
• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and quality against purchase orders, and process receipts in the warehouse management system.
• Perform physical and system-based inventory transactions, including put-away, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and products.
• Ensure proper storage of materials and products in designated areas of the warehouse, following Good Warehousing Practices (GWP) and safety guidelines.
• Conduct cycle counts, stock checks, and reconciliation activities to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the warehouse, including waste management and hazardous material handling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and quality control, to coordinate material movements and support operational needs.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, records, and reports related to warehouse activities, including receipts, issues, transfers, and stock movements.
• Participate in training programs and initiatives to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance in warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional education or training in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
• Willingness to work in shifts and comply with safety and hygiene regulations.
