Job Description
HostNest is a short-term rental management company based in North Vancouver, managing multiple Airbnb and vacation rental properties. We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various properties, helping create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces
Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective sanitation
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and complete turnovers on time
Follow established cleaning protocols to meet health and safety standards
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other amenities as needed
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards discovered during cleaning duties
Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in all tasks
Adhere to company policies regarding cleanliness standards and safety procedures
Qualifications
Prior custodial or cleaning experience is preferred, especially in hospitality or industrial settings
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required
Nice-to-have skills include hotel experience, hospitality background, or experience in industrial cleaning environments
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Preference for candidates living in North Vancouver or nearby areas
This position is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment. We value reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic in all our team members.
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
