LV Logistics - USA, headquartered in Houston, Texas are looking for an Air freight coordinator. The Air freight coordinator will be responsible for handling daily air freight forwarding operations and must have knowledge of the air freight forwarding industry.
At least 5 years experience with import / export air freight
Full knowledge & understanding of TSA regulations
Execution of air freight duties including arranging pickups, raising of air waybills and export AES filings.
Knowledge of shipping dangerous goods.
Knowledge and understanding the shipping of consolidations and oversize cargo.
Handling of customer inquiries.
Negotiate rates with carriers.
Prepare quotes and proposals.
Self-disciplined with ability to multi-task.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Strong customer focus.
Good communication skills via phone and email.
Team player with ability to work on own initiative.
