Job Summary
SHEMROCK Futuristic School is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and AI-savvy Content Writer & Curriculum Developer to create high-quality educational and digital content.
The ideal candidate should have strong English writing and storytelling skills, an understanding of curriculum and instructional design, and the ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to research, structure, and develop content efficiently.
This role combines educational content writing, curriculum development, book writing, SEO content, social media content, AI-assisted content creation, and Canva-based visual content development.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop educational books, worksheets, lesson plans, activities, and academic learning material.
• Create age-appropriate and curriculum-aligned content for different grade levels.
• Develop engaging learning resources using effective instructional design and pedagogy.
• Write website content, blogs, landing pages, and other SEO-friendly content.
• Create social media and LinkedIn content for school branding and parent engagement.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other content platforms for research, ideation, drafting, and content improvement.
• Create visual concepts, banners, icons, and social media creatives using Canva.
• Develop LinkedIn advertising content, hooks, headlines, and creative concepts.
• Collaborate with academic, marketing, and other internal teams to develop polished content.
• Research educational topics and stay updated with content, education, and AI trends.
• Ensure all content maintains high standards of grammar, accuracy, clarity, structure, and educational value.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong content writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling abilities.
• Experience in educational content writing, curriculum development, teaching, academic publishing, or a related field.
• Good understanding of curriculum development and instructional design.
• Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.
• Ability to create long-form content, including books and educational resources.
• Basic to good knowledge of SEO content writing.
• Proficiency in Canva for creating attractive and professional visual content.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work full-time, on-site, 6 days a week.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in the education, school, preschool, publishing, or ed-tech industry.
• Experience in writing educational books or curriculum material.
• Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing content.
• Experience creating LinkedIn or social media advertising content.
