The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with evolving environmental laws, navigating international and domestic carbon credit frameworks, and advocating for sustainable climate solutions. This role involves working closely with clients, regulatory agencies, and market participants to facilitate legally sound and ethically robust carbon credit transactions.

Key Responsibilities
Legal Advisory and Compliance
• Advise clients on legal frameworks governing carbon credit projects, including those related to the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), voluntary carbon markets, and compliance markets (e.g., EU ETS, CORSIA).
• Ensure compliance with international, regional, and national climate policies, including the Paris Agreement, local emission reduction requirements, and carbon accounting protocols.
Contract Drafting and Negotiation:
• Draft and negotiate contracts related to carbon credit transactions, such as Emission Reduction Purchase
