Pro Rata amount of $76,808 - $82,140 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 2) + Superannuation

Your new role
Exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Administration Officer to assist the Major Venues team to ensure that the venues managed by the unit meet the needs of clients and users.
This is a dynamic role with a variety of responsibilities, including assisting with the venue hire contracting process, managing cash handling tasks such as ticket sales and supplier payments, processing invoices and purchase orders, and performing general administrative duties for the team.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
Event administration experience and understanding of events and venues, in particular understanding of venue hiring processes
Great communication skills.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a ‘can do’ approach.
Solutions focused and willing to assist others wherever possible to ensure the achievement of Team and Council goals.
Reliable and trustworthy individual with an interest in administration.
Excellent time management, organisation, and planning skills.

Experience in a fast paced administrative environment, ideally with some exposure to event and venue booking processes.
Strong communication skills and ability to provide a high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
