**Fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated and experienced educational team at Home Road Kindergarten on Boonwurrung Country** Well established and highly respected, Home Road Kindergarten on Boonwurrung Country (Newport) is seeking an additional Diploma or Certificate III educator to provide support to one 4 year old group for the remainder of the year. This is a fixed term, contract position but with the possibility of additional hours or ongoing employment. This fixed term contract position is for immediate start on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a total of 14 hours per week, with the possibility of including Mondays and Fridays in future and ending by 15 December 2026. Additional casual hours are also regularly available. Conditions and rate of pay are determined by the Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement 2020. Having dedication, initiative, a love of learning and excellent communication skills, the Kindergarten educator applicants MUST also meet the following criteria: * minimum Certificate III, Diploma of Early Childhood or equivalent (ACECQA approved). * Possess a working knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law Act and Regulations, The National Quality Standards, Child Safe Standards and the Victoria Early Years Learning and Development Framework. * Hold a current Working with Children Check, valid Police Check and current First Aid Certificate with CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training. * Experience working with children with disabilities and neurological differences an advantage. * Sessional Kindergarten experience viewed favourably. * Bush Kinder experience viewed favourably. * Experience with a Quality Improvement Plan and Reconciliation Action Plan is valued. * Visit our website to read our philosophy and Frequently Asked Questions, to ensure our service aligns with your personal philosophy and values.
