Job Description
The Activity Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating a wide range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities for students from Nursery to Class XII. The teacher will nurture creativity, confidence, leadership, communication skills, teamwork, and overall personality development while ensuring maximum student participation in school, zonal, district, state, and national-level competitions.
Key Responsibilities1. Planning & Organization
Prepare an annual activity calendar in coordination with the school administration.
Plan and conduct age-appropriate activities for students from Nursery to Class XII.
Organize inter-house, inter-class, annual, and special assembly activities.
Coordinate national and international day celebrations, cultural programmes, exhibitions, and school events.
2. Competition Management
The Activity Teacher must possess sound knowledge and experience in organizing and preparing students for competitions such as:
Debate
Declamation
Elocution
Extempore Speech
Poetry Recitation
Story Telling
Spell Bee
3. Student Development
Identify talented students and provide specialized coaching.
Encourage participation of every child according to age and ability.
Develop communication skills, leadership qualities, creativity, confidence, and stage presence.
Train students in public speaking, anchoring, and presentation skills.
4. Event Management
Plan and execute Annual Day, Investiture Ceremony, Graduation Ceremony, Sports Day, Exhibition, Talent Hunt, and Cultural Programmes.
Prepare scripts, stage management plans, and rehearsal schedules.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Successful execution of the annual activity calendar.
Increased student participation across all classes.
Student achievements in inter-school, zonal, district, state, and national competitions.
Quality and innovation in school events and cultural programmes.
Timely completion of documentation, reports, and event planning.
Positive feedback from students, parents, and school management.
Pay: Up to ₹22,500.00 per month
