Job Summary:
Support the Design team in developing performance sports and outdoor apparel across seasonal collections. Translate design concepts into detailed CADs, linesheets, and techpacks to enable smooth execution. Coordinate with sourcing and production teams to review samples and labdips, ensuring design accuracy and quality standards. Contribute fresh ideas and design inputs while working within brand guidelines and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Samples & Labdip Review: Review incoming garment samples and labdips against approved specifications, flag deviations, and coordinate corrections with vendors.
• CAD Development: Create accurate, detailed CADs for new styles, ensuring correct proportions, construction details, and design intent.
• Linesheet Creation: Build and maintain seasonal linesheets, ensuring all styles, colorways, and details are correctly captured and kept up to date.
• Techpack Development: Develop and maintain comprehensive techpacks with accurate measurements, construction notes, trims, and artwork placement for production handoff.
• Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with Design, Sourcing, and Merchandising teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of design deliverables.
• Trend & Reference Research: Support the design team with trend research, mood boards, and reference material to aid concept development.
• On-Time Execution: Follow the development timeline closely, ensuring all deliverables - CADs, linesheets, and techpacks - are completed within deadlines.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 2-3 years of experience in apparel design, preferably with exposure to women's performance/active sportswear and outdoor apparel categories.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design/presentation software.
• Working knowledge of technical fabrics, trims, and basic construction techniques.
• Good understanding of CAD making, linesheet creation, and techpack development.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
