Job Description
Position: Accounts Receivable Analyst
Shift: Night Shift (EST Time Zone or 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST)
Location: Remote (Permanent Work from Home)
Communication Skills: Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
Salary Range: Best in the Industry
Notice Period: Preferred immediate joiner or maximum 30 days Notice. please do not apply if your Notice period is more than 30 days.
Total Experience: A minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required. Please don't apply if you have less than 3 years.
Position Summary: Our accountant role requires solid accounting experience combined with strong organizational and analytical skills. We are looking for a self-starter with a sense of urgency, able to multitask effectively without sacrificing attention to detail.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) with overall accounting knowledge.
Responsible for the month and quarter-end close process for our division.
Journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and accruals.
Planned and ensured structured P&L and Balance Sheet reviews with functional teams
Compile and analyze general ledger detail to prepare entries to accounts and document business transactions
Correction journal & reclassification/relocation journal
Assist in internal & external audits (annual audit process and other tax reporting process)
Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
Perform month-end and year-end close processes
Work closely with the accounting department to clear technical matters, report monthly and quarterly accounting updates
Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP) departments
Reconcile the inventory costing difference – actual vs accrued and investigate the differences
Requirements
Bachelor's degree Accounting or Finance
4-5 years of accounting/bookkeeping, financial reporting, analysis experience; Recent public accounting experience is a plus
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, pivot reporting, VLOOKUP, advanced charting, advanced formulas)
Excellent communication skills
Strong client service orientation
Team player and still have the ability to work independently
