Job Description
What does your day to day with us look like
Verify, and match POs to invoices and record accounts payable data
Reconcile vendor accounts to ensure that all invoices and payments are accounted for properly
Verify and investigate discrepancies
Understand expense accounts and cost centers
Obtain complete documents from subcontractors (waivers, releases, authorizations)
Understand sales tax compliance issues
Correspond to vendors and respond to enquires
Provide supporting documentation for audits
Process outgoing payments in compliance with company procedures and processes
Any other related task as required.
What do you need to ensure Excellence in your role?
Work experience as an Accounts Payable clerk in Construction or similar role
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and AP principles
Strong data entry skills
Experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Construction familiarity
Functionally bilingual (French/English)
