Accounts and Admin Officer
Job Description
For managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with internal and statutory requirements, and overseeing administrative tasks related to office functioning.
To oversee and supervise the administrative function of the organization including reception, property / facility management, safety of the work environment, and provision of furnishings and equipment necessary for effective operations The role demands a high level of integrity, accuracy, and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in Tally.
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
Prepare vouchers, manage petty cash, and maintain supporting documents.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and audits.
Reconcile bank statements and prepare necessary reports.
As required, ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements (TDS, GST, PF, ESI, etc.).
Coordinate with the central finance team for budget tracking and fund requests.
Administration
Manage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and office upkeep.
Support in organizing meetings, travel arrangements, and logistics for staff and visitors.
Liaise with vendors and service providers for contracts, renewals, and payments, as required.
Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the office.
Qualifications & Experience
Education**: M.Com/ B.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience**: 5 or more years of relevant experience in accounting and office administration.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Working knowledge of statutory compliances and NGO accounting practices preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities independently.
Desirable Attributes
Prior experience in the development/NGO sector is an advantage.
Ability to work effectively in a team and support field-level operations.
High level of integrity, responsibility, and commitment to organizational goals.
Compensation: 30,000.00 - 35,000.00 per month
