Role Description
Are you a master of numbers and regulations Do you enjoy helping clients navigate the complexities of Indian tax and finance Our Technical and Assurance team is looking for a driven professional to join us.
Join our dynamic Technical and Assurance team in Ahmedabad. As an Associate, you will be a key player in delivering comprehensive accounting, assurance, and taxation solutions. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring meticulous compliance, providing strategic tax advice, and supporting financial integrity through audit and assurance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Assurance:
Manage the finalization of accounts for various clients, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Assist in the planning and execution of Statutory, Tax, and Internal Audits.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and records.
Taxation (Direct & Indirect):
Handle end-to-end tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns, TDS/TCS statements, and GST returns.
Conduct in-depth tax research and stay updated with amendments in tax legislation and judicial precedents.
Advise clients on tax planning strategies to optimize their financial position.
Litigation & Representation:
Assist senior team members in preparing submissions and collating documentation for tax assessments and appellate proceedings before tax authorities.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA-Inter.
( Position open for Articled Assistants also )
1-3 years of relevant experience in a CA firm is highly preferred.
Strong foundational knowledge of Accounting Standards, Direct Tax (Income Tax Act), and Indirect Tax (GST).
Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Office Suite, and various tax computation/filing software.
Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
