UnORG is a B2B managed Marketplace founded in 2026 with a vision to streamline the broken supply chain in the unorganized food sector. We empower street food vendors, Dhabas, and sweets shops to grow their businesses and reach a wider customer base. Our platform is the first and only of its kind, providing a solution to the challenges faced by these small businesses.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant/Finance Controller at UnORG located in Lucknow. The Accountant/Finance Controller will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the company, including preparing financial statements, utilizing analytical skills for data analysis, managing finance and accounting software, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Develop, monitor, and manage budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Oversee the company's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and investments.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, prepare tax returns, and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working as an accountant.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively report financial information and collaborate with team members.
