Accountant - Practice

We are seeking a professional candidate with 2+ years experience in a busy role, qualified as or working towards an Accounting qualification.

Progression and support with studies is available to the successful candidate.

You will provide key support to the accountants and partners of the business, while gaining exposure to clients in a broad range of industries and business types.
• Bookkeeping duties using cloud-based software
• Accounts preparation for a mix of Sole traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
• Manage and work closely with a portfolio of clients
• Prepare VAT returns and HMRC duties

We are looking for someone with:

- Excellent communication skills, able to build good working relationships

- Experience in accounts preparation, general bookkeeping, HMRC returns and tax computations

- Keen attention to detail, delivering high quality work in a timely manner

- Strong organisational skills to manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines

- Continuous improvement mindset, keeping your skills and knowledge up to date while also suggesting business and process improvements where necessary
