Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Accountant role based in Ahmedabad, suitable for professionals with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, supporting internal audits, and collaborating with management to provide financial insights that support business decisions. The accountant is expected to work closely with the leadership and operations teams to ensure financial integrity and timely reporting.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong accounting fundamentals, including knowledge of bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial reporting.Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and MS Excel for data analysis and financial tracking.Candidates should possess familiarity with Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an added advantage.2 to 4 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a small to mid-sized business or agency environment. .
