This Position Is Responsible For Preparing And Recording Journal Entries Not Automatically Interfaced With The General Ledger And For Reviewing The General Ledger To Insure Accurate Maintenance Of The Ledger With Correct Balances For North Mississippi Health Services And Its Subsidiaries. This Position Is Responsible For Preparing The Monthly Income Statements (current Year-to-date And Last Year-to-date), The Budget Report, And The Balance Sheet For The Monthly Financial Report To Be Presented To Administrative Management And The Board Of Directors To Insure Proper Evaluation And Control Can Be Maintained Over The Operation Of North Mississippi Health Services And Its Subsidiaries. Statistical Reports:
This position is responsible for collecting data and preparing statistical reports for North Mississippi Health Services and its subsidiaries to enable management to critically review the effectiveness of a department internally and externally. Periodic Reports:
This Position Is Responsible For Assembling Data And Preparing Special Periodic Reports Such As Sales Tax Returns And Bureau Of The Census Reports And Other Special Periodic Reports As Assigned By The Supervisor Or Director. Subsidiary Records:
This position is responsible for the maintenance of the major asset register for North Mississippi Health Services and its subsidiaries. Budget:
This Position Is Responsible For Assisting In The Preparation And Review Of The Budget For North Mississippi Health Services And Its Subsidiaries To Assure The Timely And Satisfactory Completion Of The Budgeting Process. Audit:
This position is responsible for assisting internal and external auditors by providing accounting documents to enable the audit to be completed in a timely and efficient manner. Special Projects:
This position is responsible for performing special functions requested or needed by the Director, Supervisor or Department Managers to enable the work in the department to flow smoothly or to provide special information. Requirements Incumbent must have a bachelors degree in Accountancy and have preferably 1 to 5 years prior experience (healthcare preferred). Incumbent must have Microsoft Word and Excel or similar computer experience, good oral and written communication skills and good organization skills.
