Accountant - Finance Planning and Analysis

Company Description Sahayya Finserve Private Limited is a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) committed to providing accessible and responsible credit solutions to individuals and small businesses across India. The company focuses on Loans Against Property (LAP) and Home Loans, with a particular emphasis on supporting self-employed borrowers and emerging entrepreneurs Role Description The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and company accounts. This full-time on-site role, based in Bengaluru, involves the following
• Finalization of accounts
• GL scrutiny with variance analysis
• Budgeting and variance analysis including ratio analysis
• Analysis of Bank Reconciliation open items
• Set up and monitor internal controls for accounting process
• Broad understanding of Direct and Indirect Taxes.
• Liasoning with the Statutory Auditors for annual / quarterly audit of financials.
• MIS Reporting
• Monthly Quarterly and Yearly Reporting to Regulatory bodies
• Business planning and budgeting


Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ledger management, with the ability to maintain accurate books of accounts.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel, including work with spreadsheets, reconciliations, and basic data analysis.

Understanding of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and regulatory compliance relevant to NBFCs or financial services organizations.
CA’s with minimum 2–5 years’ experience preferably but not necessarily from Bank/NBFC/HFC or applicants with strong accounting background with 3-7 years of work experience.
