Accountant cum Cashier (Automobile Showroom)

Job Summary**

The Accountant cum Cashier is responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounts, handling cash collections, and supporting overall financial operations of the dealership. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and basic accounting knowledge.
• *Key Responsibilities1. Cash Handling & Billing
• Handle daily cash receipts, payments, and collections
• Issue receipts for vehicle sales, service, and spare parts
• Manage POS/online payments and reconcile transactions
• Maintain cash book and ensure daily cash tally
• *2. Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Record all financial transactions in accounting software
• Maintain purchase, sales, and expense records
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
• Support senior accountant/auditor during audits
• *3. Invoicing & Documentation
• Generate customer invoices and ensure accuracy
• Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions
• Verify supporting documents (invoices, receipts, vouchers)
• *4. Bank & Reconciliation
• Deposit daily cash collections in bank
• Perform bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies
