About the Role
As an Accountant, you will work closely with Australian accounting firms, delivering accurate, compliant, and timely accounting solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality, professionalism, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage bookkeeping and accounting functions for Australian clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare BAS, IAS, Payroll, Superannuation, GST, and supporting compliance workpapers.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and year-end accounts.
Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
Work with cloud accounting platforms including
Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks Online
.
Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, ATO requirements, and internal quality procedures.
Collaborate with client managers to deliver accurate, efficient, and timely outcomes.
Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in Australian Accounting or Bookkeeping (preferred).
Sound knowledge of BAS, GST, Payroll, Superannuation, and Financial Reporting.
Hands-on experience with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online.
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
