Job Description
What you’ll do
Vacancy - 2 Positions ( 1 Senior + 1 Junior)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Role of Junior
Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
Posting journal entries, maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable
Branch accounting, head office-branch transfers, reconciliations etc.
Accounting of import purchases, inter-company sales and purchases.
Punching SKU-wise inventory values in the system for the opening inventory (one time activity)
Solving Tally related issues which may crop up during the course of work.
- Role of Senior
Review the work of Junior accountant and provide necessary assistance.
Review and scrutinize accounts for identification and resolution of errors of principle, commission and full omission along with analysis of key areas.
Valuation of inventory using weighted average method of valuation.
Reconciliation of inter-company balances and accounting of foreign exchange gain and loss.
Review financials records in the accounting system and consolidation of the financials.
Setting up deadline, regular co-ordination with client and reporting.
Education and qualification
CMA/Semi-qualified CA or CMA (dropouts only)/Any commerce graduate having good knowledge of accountancy
Desired Candidate Profile
Good at multitasking
Can work under pressure
Efficient user of Tally software and MS office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Willingness to discover, learn or apply features of the software in use
