Account Executive INC
Job Description
Our mission is to empower the people we serve to redefine the meaning of efficiency in the accounting technology industry. Our award-winning SaaS platform was built for CPA firms, providing a simple, secure way to manage audit, tax, and advisory engagements.
Recognized for growth, innovation, and culture, we foster a highly collaborative, remote-first environment where exceptional, motivated professionals can make a meaningful impact. If you're passionate about building relationships and driving growth at a fast-growing SaaS company, we'd love to talk with you
Who we are looking for:
Suralink is seeking an Account Executive to own and grow our business across Australia and New Zealand, selling to both enterprise and commercial accounting and advisory firms.
You will own new logo acquisition and expansion across the full ANZ territory, running the complete sales cycle from first conversation to close. You will sell across the deal spectrum, from faster-moving commercial deals to complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise pursuits with Partners, Directors, and C-suite stakeholders.
This is a high-agency role for a seller who brings structure and initiative to an environment where not everything is defined. You will work closely with Sales leadership, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to translate wins into a repeatable regional playbook, and you will materially influence how Suralink competes and wins across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and Grow the ANZ Territory
Drive new logo acquisition and expansion across enterprise and commercial accounting and advisory firms in Australia and New Zealand, exceeding your quarterly quotas
Run full-cycle sales across the deal spectrum, from faster-moving commercial deals to complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise pursuits
Build and maintain healthy pipeline coverage through targeted outbound, collaboration with an in-country BDR, events, partnerships, and inbound
Lead Strategic Account Engagement
Develop account plans for target firms, including stakeholder mapping, multi-threading, collaboration with other account executives, and expansion pathways
Lead executive conversations that position Suralink as a strategic partner for firm growth and efficiency
Operate as a Builder and Owner
Thrive in an environment where not everything is defined, bringing structure, initiative, and accountability
Identify gaps in process, messaging, and coverage, and work cross-functionally to close them
Contribute directly to the playbooks, discovery frameworks, and sales standards for the region, and refine regional targeting and messaging as you learn
Collaborate Across the Business
Partner with Marketing to sharpen ICP targeting, regional campaigns, and messaging
Work with Customer Success to ensure strong handoffs, early wins, and expansion opportunities
Provide structured market feedback to Product and leadership to inform roadmap, pricing, and positioning
Create Repeatability and Momentum
Translate early deals into scalable patterns and insights
Help define what “good” looks like in ANZ selling, from qualification to close
Contribute to a foundation that future hires can build upon
Travel Expectations
Travel across Australia and New Zealand as needed for client meetings, industry events, and strategic pursuits
Travel will vary seasonally but may average approximately 40% during active deal cycles
Experience and Professional Qualifications:
Must be based in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane preferred)
6-10+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with a strong track record across both Commercial and Enterprise or Strategic segments
2+ years of experience in the accounting technology industry
Demonstrated success closing both faster-cycle commercial deals and complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
Strong outbound and account development capabilities, especially in new or developing territories
Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and take ownership of outcomes end to end
Experience collaborating cross-functionally to build or refine GTM motions
Comfortable working remotely and traveling across ANZ
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as an early seller in a new or developing territory or segment
Track record of building pipeline and closing new logos without heavy brand or marketing tailwinds
Exposure to account-based selling and enterprise pursuit strategies
An existing network within the ANZ accounting or advisory ecosystem
Competencies:
High-agency owner who thrives with ambiguity and creates structure where none exists
Full-cycle seller comfortable moving between velocity commercial deals and complex enterprise pursuits
Strong pipeline-generation instincts who does not wait for marketing to create demand
Executive presence to multi-thread across Partners, Directors, and C-suite stakeholders
Disciplined on CRM hygiene, forecasting, and deal qualification
Customer-first mindset focused on business outcomes and ROI
Collaborative partner who feeds structured market insight back to the business
