About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our full-cycle accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, conducting internal audits, and preparing comprehensive financial reports to support strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities Accounts Management Maintain and manage the full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and on time Reconcile bank statements, balance sheets, and financial records on a monthly and annual basis Manage payroll processing and ensure statutory compliance Audit Management Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external audits from start to finish Prepare and organize all audit documentation, schedules, and supporting evidence Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth audit processes Identify financial discrepancies, irregularities, or risks and recommend corrective actions Ensure all audit findings are addressed and remediated within defined timelines Financial Reporting Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Generate management reports and financial summaries for leadership and stakeholders Ensure all reports comply with applicable accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS) Monitor budgets vs. actuals and provide variance analysis with actionable insights Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing with regulatory authorities Compliance & Controls Ensure adherence to company financial policies, internal controls, and statutory regulations Stay up to date with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations Implement and strengthen internal control systems to minimize financial risk Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional certification preferred: CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA 3–5 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting, auditing, and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Zoho Books Strong knowledge of GAAP / IFRS and local tax regulations Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling) Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to handle confidential financial data with integrity Strong communication skills to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
