Job Description
In MBRDI Styling team, we design interior and exterior styling of all Merdeces-Benz Car projects that are being worked upon by Sindelfingen design studio in Germany.
By this we mean our Headquarter engages us in a panorama of projects for Mercedes-Benz car, Vans and AMG car Creative design, digital design as well studio engg.
activities.
Other than these Accessory Design is another area within MBRDI styling studio that is gaining importance. This team creates new product proposals based on German Team's plan and develop them till market launch readiness.
This requires close connection with the German counterparts and a good understanding of the future customer needs.
Skill Requirements
• Ability to create innovative design proposals for Digital Graphics & UI design concepts for interaction based products in MB vehicles.
• Relevant industry projects for creative design towards animation, gaming, digital accessories.
• Ability to decipher brand's design language, capture futuristic form trends, and translate them into creative ideas (2D or 3D format). Add value through culturally diverse thinking.
• Understands basics of programming and able to translate concepts into digital prototypes would be helpful.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for discussions and reviews. Ability to communicate with creative and digital modeling teams through sketches and other digital media.
• CAD skillset: Proficiency in hands on sketching, Abode/ Sketch, Unreal/Unity, Protopie/ flinto or other similar softwares.
• Knowledge of German language will be beneficial.
Job Responsibilities
• Generate design concepts in domain of graphics, interface design and gamification based on project inputs from Headquarters, as well initiate new product ideas.
• Research and analyze competitor brand trends in overall design, packaging, dimensions, materials and products.
• Create and present ideas to peers and design leadership for internal and external events.
• Effectively communicate with crossfunctional teams of automotive accessory designers, visualization and digital designers and suppliers in form of sketches/ digital prototypes.
• To plan and execute the tasks in order to achieve project milestones.
• Function in a project independently as well as in teams.
• Follow processes required for efficient deliveries
