About the Role:
As a Sessional Academic you will have the opportunity to teach within our VU First Year College®, who offer a unique learning experience designed specifically for first year students. VU's First Year College® is looking to increase their pool of qualified people to teach into our Bachelor of Education Studies and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education degrees.
You will engage in our renowned VU Block Model®, where one unit is taught at a time. This allows you to teach in small groups and provides you with an opportunity to engage with and get to know your students. Each appointment will be for a block of 4 weeks of teaching (typically 3 hours a day, 3 days a week, over 4 weeks) and provides you with an opportunity to teach at any particular time.

You will be someone with energy who is innovative, progressive, resilient, and collaborative in the way you work. You will be an excellent communicator who collaborates well with others across the College and the University.
