Academic Coordinator for Middle Wing, Primary & Pre Primary School

Our Partner school is looking for Coordinators for Preschool, Primary and Middle Wing. Check the below details
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide professional leadership and management of the wing in order to ensure high quality of teaching, effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement for all students
• Ensure implementation of curriculum, planners and teaching learning material and ensure the availability of the same with the teachers and students
• Model and promote best practices in teaching and learning
• Establish, evaluate and develop the academic aims and standards of the curriculum and assessment
• Keep updated with changes and initiatives in education
• Ensure that individual learning needs of children are met
• Assist the Head of School in establishing and maintaining a vibrant and thriving school
• Ensure that quality educational programmes take place in a safe, positive and healthy learning environment
• Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by members of the Senior Leadership Team
• Work alongside other stage Curriculum Coordinators to align frameworks and manage transition between phases
• Build strong relationships with parents and assist in the coordination and delivery of parent curriculum meetings and/or workshops as appropriate
• Liaise with colleagues across school to ensure smooth transition of pupils between year groups/phases with regards to curriculum provision
• Identify ways students can achieve ‘Mastery’ and support teachers in delivering this

• Actively support the values, vision, ethos, culture and policies of the school
• Inspire and motivate students, teachers and other school employees
• Comply with the professional duties of the school’s staff Code of Conduct
• Contribute to a school culture which is positive, purposeful and professional
• Engage positively in the school Appraisal process and performance management arrangements
• Are committed to safeguarding and to promoting the welfare of children and young people
Educational Qualifications and work Experience:
• Appropriate degree and other qualifications as per prescribed CBSE standards.
• Minimum 4 years’ of teaching and coordination experience for
• Experience of curriculum leadership
• Tech Savvy
• Previous experience or knowledge of working with International schools
• Have an established record demonstrating resilience, flexibility, collaboration, and creativity
• Excellent English language skills
• Ability to:
• work with a culturally and linguistically diverse student body.
• Establish and maintain positive, respectful relationships with students, school staff, families and the surrounding community.
• Knowledge of:
• Child safety and protection practices
• Age-appropriate psychological and social/emotional needs of children
• Research-supported instructional techniques.
• A range of assessment strategies and learning activities.
Good to have:
• Knowledge of International curriculums especially Finnish National core, IB, IGCSE is an asset
• Experience as a teacher/ coordinator in an International IB/IGCSE/CBSE school
