Nature of work
More specifically, the positions of pedagogical advisor include advisory, facilitation, information, development, support and feedback functions for teaching staff, management staff responsible for educational services and other persons involved in pedagogy, particularly on the programs of study, learning and teaching strategies, the nature and methods of evaluation, as well as in the context of research and innovation.
Characteristic attributions
The pedagogical advisor collaborates in the adaptation of a study program by inserting work-study programs (ATE). It participates in the coordination of ATE internships in companies and supports the teaching staff concerned. It develops and maintains partnerships to ensure the recruitment of ATE internship sites that meet the requirements. She also promotes the ATE to students. It informs and advises employers. She supervises students, in particular through visits to the internship environment.
It collaborates in the realization of credited internships that are under the responsibility of the programs.
She participates in the pedagogical organization and coordination of work-study programs, internships in companies and supports the teaching staff concerned. It may be called upon to inform and advise employers.
It collaborates with the various collegial bodies as well as with regional, national and international bodies and public and private organizations for the realization of projects.
She leads and supervises activities related to student placements and employer job offers.
He or she may be called upon to participate in multidisciplinary work teams.
It may be involved in the coordination, design, development and
implementation of activities, programmes and projects of an international nature.
She represents the college as needed and collaborates with various partners to carry out projects.
She performs any other related task related to her field of expertise.
Qualifications and skills required
Hold a final undergraduate degree in a field of specialization appropriate to the job, in particular, in educational sciences.
Ability to build relationships with the business, institutional and community communities.
