WA Country Health Service Overview
The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is a large and complex organization that provides healthcare services to approximately half a million people across rural and remote Western Australia. As the Aboriginal Health Policy Manager, you will play a key role in leading and promoting the development and implementation of Aboriginal health policy, program, and project initiatives within WACHS.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement Aboriginal health policy and programs that promote improved health outcomes for Aboriginal people
• Lead and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to address health disparities and inequities
• Provide technical assistance and support to health professionals and organizations to improve their capacity to deliver culturally appropriate care to Aboriginal people
