Responsibilities
AP Mechanic - Line Maintenance, 2nd Shift - U.S. Marshals - 162+2
For the U.S. Marshals you will monitor aircraft line maintenance and accurately complete all aircraft paperwork to ensure safety and timely delivery
Perform Pre- Post- and In-Flight inspections, adjustments, and minor repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation of aircraft
Shift: 2nd Shift (1330 to 2200, but will vary due to arrival and departure times)
Predeparture and daily inspections of aircraft
Launch and recovery of USMS aircraft
Pireps Log Book items
Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards
Perform heavy line maintenance tasks with minimal supervision
Perform any type of aircraft rigging
Use FAA approved data i.e
May perform repairs upon completion of flight
All other duties as assigned
Constantly: Lifting 10 lbs., standing, walking, wrist flexion and extension, environmental weather conditions
Frequently: Lifting 40 lbs., push/pull 20 lbs., climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling for extended periods, working in confined spaces
Working above chest-level, overhead, and away from body for extended periods
4’, working on ladders, scaffolding, uneven surfaces, and energized parts

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Predeparture and daily inspections of aircraft.
• Launch and recovery of USMS aircraft.
• Pireps Log Book items.
• Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
• Perform heavy line maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
• Perform any type of aircraft rigging.
• Use FAA approved data i.e. IPC, M M, OHM, SRM proficiently.
