Job Description
General Description
A&P Mechanic III providing full on-site maintenance flight/functional check flight operations to support the USAF Rotary Wing Initial Entry Pilot Training on the MH-13+/AW-13+
Duties
• Provide aviation maintenance and repair services, operational support, including testing of aircraft, aviation systems, and associated support equipment.
• Interpret technical data, publications, and directives.
• Complete all launch and recovery of aircraft flights and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
• Isolate and troubleshoot faults.
• Manage all documentation including internal contractor pilot and non-rated crew member flight records, HAZMAT, safety, scheduling, etc.
• Complies with all regulatory, customer, and contractual requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• FAA A&P license required
• 8 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or 6 or more years of verifiable rotary-winged aircraft maintenance required.
