A-Grade Electrician — Pre-Insulation Safety Inspections

No Gap Future Energy is a Melbourne-based energy retrofit business operating under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) framework. We hold multi-year contracts delivering residential energy upgrades across Victoria — meaning stable, ongoing work for the people on our team.
The Role
We're looking for a licensed A-Grade Electrician to join our field team conducting pre-insulation electrical safety inspections across Melbourne. This is a high-volume, autonomous role — you'll be on the road each day completing inspections at residential properties, with strong admin support behind you and a clear path to broader electrical work as the business grows.
What You'll Be Doing
Conducting pre-insulation electrical safety inspections at residential properties across Melbourne
Supporting our operations team in the delivery of our broader energy upgrade programs as required
Completing compliance documentation via our field app
Identifying and reporting any safety hazards or switchboard issues
Coordinating with our operations team on daily scheduling and job flow
Representing NoGap professionally with residents
What We're Looking For
Registered A-Grade Electrician licence (Victoria) — essential
2–3 years post-qualification experience
Comfortable working independently across multiple sites per day
Strong attention to detail and compliance documentation
Reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence
Good communication skills with residential tenants
Experience in government energy programs or social housing a plus, but not required
