The role
Commencing in Term 3, 2025 for Semester 2, we are seeking an exceptional Literature and Research Teacher to deliver effective teaching, learning and caring programs at St Michael’s Grammar School. This role will see you teaching Specialist classes across the Junior School.

The successful applicant:
Will be a qualified teacher and be able to demonstrate a suitable tertiary qualification
Will be able to plan, and use existing plans, to deliver structured lessons in the areas of literature and research.
Will collaborate with teachers to enrich the classroom learning program.
Will work as part of the Knowledge Commons (Library) team, helping to develop and maintain a multi-modal Knowledge Commons (Library) collection that support the needs of the learning community
Will be willing to be involved in all aspects of the School’s program
Will possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and interact with both adults and students
Will have high level communication skills
Will be able to work independently but also as part of a dynamic, creative and collaborative team
Must hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
Must hold an Anaphylaxis Certificate, or be willing to obtain this prior to commencement
Must have a current National Police Check or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement
