Full job description
The Assistant Advisor's key responsibilities are:
Develop, implement and maintain effective administrative systems, including systems relating to the management of human resource, performance reporting and business processes.
Provide timely, high-quality advice and support to the Manager.
Participate as part of a team in the development and implementation of projects relating to human resource issues, initiatives and programs within agreed priorities and timelines as necessary to improve service outcomes.
Liaise with clients, departmental officers and other government and non-government organisations as necessary.
Builds and sustain positive relationships with team members and clients.
Promoting excellence in service delivery and public administration and identifying opportunities for improving regional client service.
It is a requirement of all employees to maintain cultural capability, commit to self-directed learning regarding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to contribute to a culturally safe and inclusive workplace.
