Responsibilities Key Deliverables
Roles Responsibilities:
• Review and analyse facts provided by Business Team and suggest appropriate action.
• Review the legal research conducted by a team member, assess the relevance, analyse the applicability and suggests further course of action basis the same.
• Identify Advocates/Law Firms to handle litigation (Civil, Criminal, MACT, Consumer Cases etc.) /represent MM in various courts across India. Negotiate quotes and empanel the Advocates.
• Draft Legal Notices and Replies to Legal Notices.
• Review the drafted Legal Notices and Replies to Legal Notices and advice appropriate modifications.
• Review the drafted legal documents such as Plaints, Written Statements, Affidavits, Writ Petitions etc. analyse and suggest appropriate modifications and provide valuable inputs based on factual and legal knowledge. It is presumed that the candidate has the ability and knowledge to draft the above as and when necessary.
• Attend matters before all authorities and forums as deemed necessary and otherwise ensure attendance of the matters by the subordinate.
• Brief Counsels and attend conferences providing valuable inputs on facts and law.
• Organize meetings between Business Team and Advocates/Law Firms/Counsels for effective dissemination of facts and processes where necessary.
• Guide team members in handling litigation matters effectively and efficiently.
• Overall monitor cases in different cities and handle the volume of Consumer Cases in particular. Experience
Past experience in handling Consumer / MACT cases is must.

6. Business acumen to understand business requirement.
7. Articulation skills for effective communication with Reporting Authority/Advocates/Counsels/Business Persons/Colleagues/external persons.
8. Apt usage of Microsoft Excel and PPT.
