Job Summary:

This position will involve proactive outbound calling to potential blood donors, providing information, addressing inquiries, and scheduling appointments for blood donation. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will contribute directly to our ability to serve patients in need.
Responsibilities:
Outbound Calling:
Conduct outbound calls to individuals and organizations to educate them about the importance of blood donation.
Clearly and effectively communicate the blood donation process, eligibility criteria, and the impact of their contribution.
Address potential donors' questions and concerns in a professional and informative manner.
Persuade potential donors to schedule appointments for blood donation at our center or upcoming drives.
Donor Relationship Management:
Maintain accurate records of calls and follow-up activities in our database.
Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and repeat donors.
Follow up with individuals who have expressed interest in donating.
Update donor information as needed.
Target Achievement:
Meet or exceed established targets for call volume, appointment scheduling, and donor recruitment.
Track and report on daily and weekly activities and results.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Donor Recruitment team to coordinate outreach efforts and strategies.
Provide feedback on call experiences and potential areas for improvement in our recruitment approach.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Compliance and Information:
Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines regarding blood donation recruitment and data privacy.
Stay informed about current blood donation needs and any changes in eligibility criteria or procedures.
Other Duties:
Assist with other donor recruitment activities as needed, such as supporting on-site registration during blood donation drives.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Proven experience (typically 1-2 years) in telemarketing, sales, customer service, or a related field. Experience in a healthcare or non-profit setting is a plus.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including a clear and professional phone manner.
Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle objections and remain positive and persistent.
Good listening skills and the ability to understand and respond to potential donors' needs and concerns.
Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate databases and record information accurately.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Self-motivated and target-oriented with a strong work ethic.
Empathy and a genuine desire to contribute to the well-being of the community through blood donation.
