About the role

Leadership: The National Practice Manager for this role is Michael Millard. Michael is based in Adelaide and leads the Strategy and Design business unit across ANZ and is passionate about fostering team spirit and enabling team members to reach their potential through learning and development. Insight's Strategy and Design team combine design thinking with an understanding of emerging technology, a background in process optimisation, governance and organisational change that is designed to deliver real business value from IT investments


The Practice Lead will input into the development of the practice strategy and execute a practice business plan that aligns to the broader company vision for the future. Success in this role will come from being accountable for regional execution of the plan and maintaining a high teammate and client satisfaction.

You will be a member of the leadership team and will be responsible for living our values and leading by example. There will be high expectations that you will leverage your team and embrace a culture of delegation and sharing responsibilities with your broader team.


Business Leadership – Execute parts of the regional plan for the business unit (Practice) including Go to Market, Sales and Marketing Plans and Insight Day to day finances of the practice including costs, team renumeration and reward, chargeability and utilisation.

Delivery Management – Senior oversight and shaping of engagements as well as input into regional capacity planning maintaining appropriate capacity when forecasting supply and demand

Sales Management – Vendor Relationship management, pre-sales participation and using your own profile to execute marketing and sales strategies within conferences and User Group participation

What we’re looking for

Prior experience in a Practice Lead or Consulting role within a similar environment, managing all aspects of a services business including PL

Demonstrated experience across Strategy and Design competency including but not limited to: digital transformation, process optimisation, architecture, customer and user experience, AI and innovation and change management

Strong commercial results in leading sales, pre-sales and new business development

Extensive people leadership and people management experience
