Painter production worker fast paced environment

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated painter with a minimum of one years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both interior and exterior painting and be capable of completing projects to a high standard of quality. The role requires attention to detail, good work ethic, and the ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Qualifications:

1. Experience:

Minimum of 1 years of professional painting experience.
Experience with residential, commercial, and/or industrial painting projects preferred.
Familiarity with various types of paint, finishes, and techniques.
2. Skills:

Ability to prepare surfaces (e.g., sanding, patching, priming) for painting.
Knowledge of painting tools and equipment (brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc.).
Ability to mix and match colors and finishes.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.
Capable of reading blueprints and following project specifications.
Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
3. Certifications (if applicable):

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
OSHA safety certifications or other safety-related training.
4. Personal Attributes:

Excellent communication skills.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, or mudding them.
Apply primer, paint, stains, and other finishes to various surfaces.
Ensure proper cleanup and maintenance of painting tools and equipment.
Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors to ensure satisfaction.
Preferred:

Experience with specialty coatings and finishes (e.g., faux finishes, textured coatings).
Ability to work in high or difficult-to-reach spaces (e.g., scaffolding, ladders).
A portfolio of previous work.
