Assistant Video Editor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and dynamic Junior Video Editor to join our production house. With approximately 2 years of industry experience and basic understanding in motion graphics, the individual should possess good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop is a significant advantage. The Junior Video Editor will primarily work on creating and editing rough drafts for Television Commercials (TVCs), Corporate Films, Online Ads, and uplifting Instagram reels. This role also presents the opportunity to expand knowledge in motion graphics and animation in response to industry demand for fully packaged videos.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting and editing video content for TVCs, Corporate Films, Online Ads, and Instagram reels.

Managing video editing tasks from inception through post-production.

Collaborating with creative teams to understand project scope and objectives.

Employing storytelling skills to ensure continuity and coherence in videos.

Implementing video editing principles to maximize the effectiveness of the visual.

Assisting in selecting appropriate audio, graphic and animation elements.

Incorporating a creative mindset and fresh ideas for video editing.

Continuing to learn and keep up-to-date with industry trends in video editing, motion graphics, and animation.

Qualifications and Skills:

2 years of experience in video editing.

Basic understanding of motion graphics, willing to learn more.

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.

Strong understanding of timing and visual awareness.

Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

Adaptable and able to work under tight deadlines.
