The Opportunity

We're on the hunt for an exceptional Sales Administrator or Operations specialist to support our talented team of Wine Advisors. This pivotal role reports directly to our Cellar Sales Manager and offers:

Full-time position (40 hours per week, with guaranteed minimum 30)
Weekend work included, but no evening shifts
Hourly rate depending on skills and experience, plus quarterly bonuses

The Person

You will:

Have a min of 1 years experience in administration and / or operations
Happy to work in a Mac environment
Be willing to go above and beyond to deliver a world class guest experience.
Be flexible to support the sales team and streamline processes to enable sales.
Be comfortable taking to groups of customers and making sales
Have an eye for detail and accuracy with the ability to work methodically and logically
Have excellent time management, be organised and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Be confident working with software such as Excel, Shopify, Xero, Rezdy
Demonstrate a high level of initiative and responsibility to get ‘sales’ things done
Have superior problem solving skills
Be well presented and well spoken with fluent English, spoken and written
Superior IT skills (we use Mac) and know how to fix the printer, reboot the wifi and keep the phone and email systems working!
Demonstrate values that align with ours
Be interested in wine and able to hold a conversation about wine and food
Some experience and qualifications in tourism, hotel, wine or hospitality would be a distinct advantage
The Role

You will be responsible for:

Daily and weekly planning of all Wine Tasting reservations
Communication and customer service with agents, wine club members, tour companies, events and FIT's
Welcoming guests in the Cellar Door and creating a world class guest experience and a welcoming sales environment
Liaising with our Hotel and Bistro teams to plan and host events and across-department experiences
Ensuring the Cellar Door is always presented beautifully for all guests
Daily open and close procedures
Administration and management reporting
