What the 3D Candidate Should Actually Do
The person should be capable of:
• Creating 3D exhibition and museum environments
• Developing exhibition stalls, pavilions, galleries and experiential spaces
• Converting 2D plans/elevations into complete 3D environments
• Creating realistic museum gallery walkthroughs
• Designing display systems, exhibit zones, installations and visitor experiences
• Understanding visitor circulation and spatial planning
• Visualizing interactive exhibits, touchscreens, LED walls, projection areas, AR/VR zones and immersive installations
• Creating exhibition structures, entrances, façades, stages and feature installations
• Applying materials, textures, lighting and graphics realistically
• Producing high-quality renders for client presentations and tenders
• Creating camera animations and 3D walkthrough videos
• Coordinating with graphic designers, architects, content teams and production/fabrication teams
• Understanding that the final design must be practically executable/fabricable, not merely visually attractive
Video & Motion Graphics Requirement
Since you want one person who can handle both, specify that they should also be able to:
• Edit presentation and promotional videos
• Create motion graphics
• Work in After Effects
• Work in Premiere Pro
• Composite rendered 3D sequences
• Add titles, graphics, transitions and effects
• Create final presentation films from 3D walkthroughs/renders
• Optimize content for LED screens, presentations and digital exhibits
