Job Description
Role: 3D Generalist
Experience: ++Years
Location: Pune
Type: Full Time
Skills: 3D Animation & Rigging, Modeling & texturing
3DsMax , Autodesk Maya.
Gaming Industry experience mostly preferred.
3D Generalist requirements:
• Create both stylized and realistic animations as per the game requirements.
• Create Biped , Quadrupeds and all type of Rigged props .
• Understand real-time and prerendered production pipelines with a focus on Animation
• Have an ability to do unity integration
• Interpret artistic direction with ease
• Maintain the production schedule and communicate any deadline concerns
• Problem solve creative challenges on the fly
• Work closely with Lead Artist to produce high-quality 3D animations in an iterative process
• Maintain excellent file structure and organization
• Able to filter and evaluate criticism on a professional level
• Continually sharpen 3D artistic abilities and software expertise through company training, independent learning, and learning from other team members
• Experience in game development pipeline
• Strong skills in animating humanoid bipeds, quadrupeds, and other creatures
• Strong skills with animation workflows
• Strong understanding of rigging
• Expertise in 3ds Max, Maya or equivalent 3D programs (3DS Max preferred)
• Excellent design and compositional skills
• Ability to self-manage time with a reasonable degree of accountability and minimal instruction
• A great attitude and team player
Really nice to haves:
• Have an ability to model both organic and hard-surface meshes
• Have an ability to model Low poly models (Game Ready)
• Have excellent knowledge of 3ds Max and zbrush Sculpting
• Have experience with Unity game engine or equivalent Softwares.
• Have experience rendering with VRay or equivalent
• Have an understanding of color theory and lighting
• Have experience with Substance Painter
• Have compositing experience using After Effects or equivalent
• Have a foundation in the traditional arts
• If love games, movies, animation, and if love dissecting them while thinking how to take them to the next level.
