The Opportunity
The Leader, Marketing & Communications is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and external awareness strategies that strengthen Technical Safety BC's brand, increase engagement with the safety system, and support organizational priorities. The role leads multi-channel marketing campaigns, audience segmentation, organizational storytelling and marketing technology capabilities including HubSpot. As a people leader, this role builds a high-performing team focused on innovation, continuous improvement and measurable outcomes.
Status: Casual, Full-Time, Excluded (14 months)
Number of Positions: 1
Pay Grade: Grade 19, ($98,500 - $147,800)
Location: Vancouver
Reports to: Director, Marketing, Client Enablement & Value Realization
As a Leader, Marketing, you will support:
Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership
Clearly identify and articulate the Technical Safety BC brand and value proposition.
Lead development and execution of integrated marketing strategies supporting organizational priorities, regulatory initiatives, products and services.
Oversee annual marketing planning and alignment of campaigns, resources, and investments.
Establish audience segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies.
Apply market research, analytics, and audience insights to improve engagement and outcomes.
Ensure brand standards are consistently applied across all touchpoints.
Provide strategic marketing advice and consultation to leaders across the organization.
Marketing Channel & Campaign Management
Lead integrated campaigns across digital, email, web, social, partner and event channels.
Develop channel strategies that maximize audience engagement.
Manage paid advertising and content distribution activities.
Monitor campaign performance and key performance indicators.
Manage agencies, consultants, and vendors.
Report on ROI, campaign effectiveness, and engagement trends.
External Communications
Lead external awareness and engagement strategies.
Develop compelling stories that promote public awareness, organizational priorities and measurable outcomes.
Oversee the strategy and delivery of corporate publications and events including the State of Safety, Annual Report, Three-Year Business Plan and Core Connections.
Oversee external campaigns, reports and awareness programs.
Translate complex technical and regulatory information into accessible communications.
Ensure consistency of messaging across channels and campaigns.
Manage organizational storytelling initiatives.
