26-27 Elementary Teacher

For the 2026-2027 school year, Holy Trinity Catholic School is seeking a self-contained elementary teacher.

Position Title: Teacher

Terms of Employment: 190 days/year

The teacher is hired by and is responsible to the principal. The duties of the teacher include but are not limited to:

COMMUNITY OF FAITH
• Supports and implements the philosophy of Catholic Education.
• Gives evidence of lived Gospel values.
• Participates in building faith community.

INSTRUCTIONAL PROCESS
• Demonstrates evidence of prior planning and preparation.
• Uses effective teaching techniques, strategies, and skills during lesson.
• Demonstrates knowledge of curriculum and subject matter.
• Uses instructional time efficiently and effectively.
• Evaluates student progress effectively.
• Provides for individual differences.
• Demonstrates ability to motivate students.
• Maintains an atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Manages student behavior in a constructive manner.

INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS
• Works cooperatively with administration.
• Works as a team member with educational staff.
• Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations with students.
• Maintains positive interpersonal relations with parents and other members of the school community.

PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND GROWTH
• Maintains professional manner in classroom and other school related settings.
• Demonstrates a sense of professional responsibility.
• Actively and cooperatively participates in responding to total school needs.
• Keeps abreast of development in curriculum and the learning process.
