The Westpac Graduate Program gives you the opportunity to learn, grow and make an impact from day one. You'll gain hands-on experience, work on meaningful projects, and be supported to build a career with purpose.

Your Westpac Journey
When you start
You'll join Westpac as a permanent employee in February 2027, giving you the confidence and security to focus on your growth from day one.
Throughout your program
Your graduate experience will vary depending on the business area you join, with programs ranging from 12 to 24 months and including structured rotations, specialist experiences, and exposure to different teams and projects across the organisation.
You'll receive:
Tailored learning and development
Support from leaders, mentors and fellow graduates
Opportunities to build your network across the organisation
Exposure to diverse teams, projects and career pathways
Application Process
We know you're busy with uni, work and life, so we've kept our process as simple as possible.
Step 1: Apply Online
Submit your resume and academic transcript through our online application form.
Step 2: Online Assessments
You’ll be invited to complete a series of online assessments designed to help us understand your strengths and potential.
Step 3: Video Interview
If shortlisted, you'll be invited to complete a video interview where you can share more about your experiences, motivations and what makes you an Uncommon Mind.
Step 4: Assessment Centre
If shortlisted, you'll attend an assessment centre designed to help us learn more about your strengths through a range of interactive activities.
Step 5: Offers & Feedback
We'll keep you informed throughout the process and provide updates on your application journey.
Program Eligibility
We welcome applications from final-year students and graduates (within the past three years) from all degree disciplines. Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand Citizens, or Australian Permanent Residents.
