WRITER-EDITOR WANTED
Job summary
The successful candidate will work with subject matter experts to create textbooks for adult learners. Your outputs will include textbooks, handbooks, case studies, and other reference material, as well as articles for a top-tier business magazine. You will report to the publisher.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Developing, reviewing, rewriting and updating interactive books and allied material
Producing well-structured, plagiarism-free and polished books for online and print delivery
Assisting and mentoring colleagues whenever necessary
All within strict deadlines
Qualifications and experience
Minimum experience: four to five years in full-time writing and editing (academic or business material)
Postgraduate or masters’ degree in relevant subject
Key qualities
Strong understanding of business and management
Impeccable command of English
Working experience in management, HR, business, project management, finance, technology, strategy, public service, and allied fields an advantage
Positive attitude
Detail-orientated
Able to work under pressure
Excellent communicator
Self starter
Professional, quick and accurate
Able to work well in a team environment
Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
