The Opportunity: Workplace Safety Assistant
Reporting to Group Manager, Work Health Safety, this entry-level position offers skill development and real impact on workplace safety. Assists in identifying and implementing key WHS initiatives across 2000+ workforce and 41 Depots and Branches across Australia.
Partners with operational leaders and experienced team to assess, control, and monitor workplace hazards.
Responsibilities:
Participating in risk assessments and exposure monitoring. Supporting incident investigations and workplace inspections. Assisting with injury management and compliance reviews.
Contributing to maintaining records and updating WHS documentation. Assisting with audits, inspections, and other activities that support WHS practice and continual improvement.

Passion for workplace safety combined with eagerness to learn makes you a standout candidate. Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships will be essential in supporting managers and employees in daily operations.
