Windows and Linux Administrator

Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled Windows and Linux Administrator with 4 to 6 years of experience to join operations support team. This role involves working in rotational US shifts, supporting critical business operations across hybrid IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) environments.Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar distributions).Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Linux environments.Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and file servers.Implement and manage clustering and high-availability solutions in Windows environments.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, patch management, and security.Perform troubleshooting and resolution of Linux-based system issues.Monitor system performance, security, and availability while optimizing resources.Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting tools.Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.Perform patch management, vulnerability remediation, and ensure compliance with security standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy infrastructure projects and provide support Technical Skills:Strong expertise in Windows Server and Linux administration.Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).Basic scripting knowledgeUnderstanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and IT security principles.
