Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining presentation standards.
Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and manage the cash register.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
Assist in the training of new staff members on proper service techniques and restaurant policies.
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service times.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred but not required.
Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately.
Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
